Former NFL Player Lee Rouson spoke to 500 students at P.S. 42. The students were more than excited to see Mr. Rouson at their school. Most of the students and even faculty wore their NY Giants jerseys. After the assembly was finished, Lee was asked to stay around to speak with some of the more troubled students at the school. This was a very emotional assembly, with Lee speaking about choices to these troubled children. Before Lee left the school, he was attacked with hugs and thanks from the children and faculty.

Public School 41 Outreach

Former NY Giant and Super Bowl Champ, Lee Rousan, was the guest speaker at P.S. 41. His message resonated with over 300 students. Lee spoke about the choices he has made in his life and how they have lead him to where he is today. His message for the children was one about making the right decisions. He encouraged the kids to really think about the choices they make in life and how it can affect their future. He also encouraged the students to do their best academically, to learn patience, and to respect one another.

Thanksgiving Meals Outreach

The International Children’s Support Foundation provided meals and home goods to homeless families this Thanksgiving.

ICF Night With The Knicks

ICF was able to provide a fun filled night for youngsters amongst Knick stars John Starks and Nate Robinson. Besides enjoying hands on experience with Knick players, the kids were able to watch a Knick game afterwards at Madison Square Garden. It was a night full of mentoring from leaders in the community, basketball, and time spent with the ICF team.

ICF is looking forward to the next great experience!

St. Roch’s Outreach & Basketball Game

The ICF hosted organized an outreach at St. Rochs school on Staten Island. There was a great turnout. Those in attendance enjoyed one-on-one interaction with our professional athletes on hand. Current and former NFL players David, Tyree, Ray McElroy, & Lee Rousan were on hand.

Montclair High School Celebrity Game

The celebrity basketball game was held at Montclair High School in Montclair, NJ. New York Giants WR David Tyree lived in Montclair and attended the high school. The game kicked off and the fun began. The I.C.F. celebrity team played against the Montclair Varsity Basketball boys and girls. Speeches were given by David Tyree, Ray McElroy, Willie Alfonso, and Rich Mahler throughout the game during breaks to the Montclair students in the stands. The SHINE Dance team and singers performed at half time and during time outs. This was a great home welcoming for David although he couldn’t play due too knee surgery.

Football Game and Testimonies at CPC

Saturday’s event was held at CPC, Christian Pentecostal Church, in Emerson Hill and hosted by their own Pastor Andre. Children and adults alike were participants in a pick-up game of football as the DJ music played for their motivation. Coming in out of the chilly air, Ray McElroy shared some of his personal family and NFL life experiences with the intently receptive audience.
